Joe Miotke, a patent attorney, partner with one of Wisconsin's largest law firms, DeWitt Ross & Stevens, and Past-President of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Law Association, will provide an overview of intellectual property protection, covering patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks.  The presentation is geared towards inventors and entrepreneurs and assisting them in taking the steps to adequately protect the investment in their innovations and maximize the return on this investment.  The presentation likewise will assist inventors and entrepreneurs in avoiding pitfalls that can derail progress on the innovation path.
